Sneak Peeks and an Ode to my Family...

I've forgotten what sleep feels like,
but I am not sorry
because I have had some fantastic weekends
this past month with some beautiful people.
Check out what I am working on
(and working and working and working and not sleeping....)

An adorable little family...

Engaged and saucy...

Engaged and sweet...

A family that embodies CUTE...

A sassy gal pal shoot...

a senior boy who is "muy guapo"... :)

And a gorgeous wedding...

I love my clients!

And now for the Ode to my Family: God bless 'em.

To my family member clients who have been SO patient
as I learn to juggle teaching full-time and my photography hobby:
As I learn to use coffee as my daily fuel,
my fantastic fam encourages and supports me.
Thank you to all of my cheerleaders.

I love you guys.

And I'm glad you are all so stinkin' good looking
so that you can supplement my website galleries.

Eid Celebration

Meet the family of the beautiful Cheema sisters. The girls celebrated the last day of fasting for Ramadan on Sunday. Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting, in which Muslims refrain from eating or drinking from dawn until sunset. "Eid ul-Fitr," the name of this ninth month, means the Festival of Breaking the Fast. I stopped by to take a family picture because they had loved ones in town from all over the United States. Much of the older generations in the family spoke "Urdu" -- the national language of Pakistan. I LOVED being around this dynamic family and learning more about the culture that they embrace and value.
